DAVID NORDENSTROM - PRESIDENT
David Nordenstrom is a lifetime resident of Kanabec County and
has been married to his wife, Ginny, since 1974. They have two
children, Karen a Music Major Graduate from Concordia College in
Moorhead Minnesota and currently attending St. John University
to further her Music Education, and Katherine (Kati) who is pursuing a degree
in Elementary Education at Concordia College in Moorhead Minnesota.
David is the Chief of Operations of Nordenstrom Custom Homes and
is responsible for General Operation as well as Marketing and Advertising.
David served for four years in the USAF during the Vietnam conflict, serving one year in Vietnam. He attended two years at St. Cloud State University and two years at Thief River Falls Vocational School for Architectural Drafting prior to enlisting in the service. David is also an active member of the community serving for two years as President of the Mora Area Chamber of Commerce and four years on its board of directors, served as an advisor to the Mora Planning Commission, served and chaired the Mora Commercial Industrial Commission and various other community redevelopment boards.
He served two terms as Secretary/Treasurer for the Minnesota Arrowhead Association - the states largest tourism region. Chairperson for two years of the Mora Area Tourism Division of the Chamber of Commerce and established its tourist information center.
Member of the National Association of Home Builders and its local chapter, the Central Minnesota Home Builders Association, member of the NAHB System Building Council, A Wausau Homes Chairman’s Council Advisor, past Junior Achievement Advisor, member of American Legion Post #201, member of the Mora United Methodist Church and past chairperson of the finance and memorials committees and currently serving on the memorials committee.
David has also served since 1990 on the
United Methodist Church's Northeast District Building Committee
and has attended a Cursillo weekend. David also served on a Blue
Ribbon Advisory Committee (building projections and locations)
for the Mora School Board, Chaired and worked on the Mora Area
Chamber of Commerce Home Show Committee from its inception and
today it is East Central Minnesota's largest home show. David is
currently a member of the Mora International Lions Club, a licensed
Limited Real Estate Broker and a member on the Board of Directors
for the Mora Housing and Redevelopment Authority and served as
its chairperson for 3 years. David received his State of Minnesota
Building Contractors license in 1993. back to top

B.J. NORDENSTROM - VICE PRESIDENT
B.J. Nordenstrom is a lifetime resident of Kanabec County and
has been married to his wife Mary since 1979. They have two sons,
Adam and Joe. Adam is currently the Field Operations Manager for
Nordenstrom Custom Homes and Joe recently graduated from Heavy
Equipment School in Staples, Minnesota and is employed in the Heavy
Equipment Industry. BJ and Mary are proud grandparents of Benjamin
and Haley. B.J. attended two years of St. Cloud Area Vocational
Technical Institute and graduated with a degree in Municipal Engineering.
He was a board member and past Vice President of the Kanabec County
Historical Society and is still a member. B.J. also volunteers
many hours to assist in historical reconstruction projects and
fund raising.
He is a member of the National Association of Home
Builders and its local chapter, a member of the NAHB Systems Building
Council. He is a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Mora where
he plays guitar and assists in the Musical Contemporary Service
held each Sunday. B.J. has attended a Cursillo weekend and has
participated in other weekend retreats for the experience of others.
B.J. is Nordenstrom Custom Homes Chief Financial Officer and is
responsible for all computer operations. B.J. has received certifications
from manufacturers as a professional installer of their products.
In 1993 B.J. received his State of Minnesota Contractor’s License. back to top

Adam Nordenstrom – Field Operation Manager
Adam was born and raised in Mora. After graduation he lived in
the St. Cloud area for five years. While there, he attended the
St. Cloud Technical College and worked as his apartment buildings
on site maintenance manager. Adam also worked as a Low Voltage
Technician for four years. While in St. Cloud, Adam belonged to
the Tournament Fisherman’s Club for three years and very much enjoys
fishing and hunting activities.
Adam was united in marriage to his wife Sara in 2003. In that first year, Benjamin arrived in their household. Two years later Haley, Benjamin’s sister, blessed their home. Adam is the Field Operations Manager for Nordenstrom Custom Homes in charge of all field operations and quality control. Adam represents the fifth generation of Nordenstroms in the building trades. Adam has attended several seminars to gain technical knowledge in his role as operations manager. Adam is a member of the Mora International Lions Club and he and his family attend the Grace Lutheran Church of Mora. back to top
