In 1995 APA-The Engineered Wood Association, named Nordenstrom Custom Homes, Inc. as one of “America’s Best Builders and Remodelers” and were featured in “Better Homes and Gardens”. In 2006, Nordenstrom Custom Homes new model home received two national awards from the National Association of Home Builders, System Builders Council for “Best Model Home Interior – Traditional Style” and “Best Custom Home Exterior” for homes under 2000 square feet. Chose nordenstrom construction not only for their design help and trust, but I knew I could count on them to timely complete every phase of my home and deliver it turn-key. After completion Of my home I contacted the people at nordenstrom construction and asked them to complete additional work for me. They responded promptly and completed a concrete driveway, deck and a screened gazebo.

As lake residents and people who like to entertain, we have a lot of company at our new home on Grindstone. Each time we have someone new over we always end up talking about the construction of our house and singing BJ's, and his crew's praises. So, it's about time we put some of this praise and gratitude in writing!
We knew we wanted to build our home using EPS (Energy Panel Structures) and through this we came into contact with Nordenstrom Custom Homes, as an EPS licensed contractor in the area. From the initial design phase through the last final touches we have been extremely impressed with the professionalism, talent, skill and willingness to work with our ever-evolving ideas through NCH. This experience of working side by side throughout the process was such a different experience than our first home where the cookie cutter house and builder didn't lend itself to whatever alterations we requested. BJ and his team were flexible with our ideas while offering their experience and expertise.
We were also pleased with his willingness to work with us on completing some of the work ourselves and found his price adjustments to be quite fair. Building a home can be stressful, and we knew all along we were in good hands and appreciated the guidance and patience NCH provided us throughout. They kept us well informed at each step, stayed on schedule and within budget. We were happy with their subcontractors as well. They were professional, willing to talk with us, and kept a tidy worksite!
We absolutely love our home and get numerous compliments on it! It is beautiful, well constructed and energy efficient! Even the propane delivery man has commented on how little propane we use... Energy
